Many chairmen and directors of Professional colleges thinks thatĀ if they have great infrastructure, great teaching faculty, modern infrastructure, Air conditioned environment or a big budget on branding can help their organization to be in top most institutions list with good rank. But these are not theĀ real factor. If you compare some big education group like AMITY, LPU, VIT etc. with any IIT, you can easily distinguish each education group is having better infrastructure and facilities than IIT, but still they are not the first choice of students. Why?
We understand that getting into IITs/ IIMs is probably the safest option that most of the Indian students have - it guarantees you a job, you learn in a challenging environment and interact with some of the best students across the country, however these are not the factors that most students think about when they sign up for JEE. We even knew of students who have tried to prepare for JEE and take the exam even though they didn't have an aptitude for Maths/science and would have probably excelled in a humanities oriented stream (which is something that most IITians cannot claim to do). However, they came under family pressure and gave JEE nonetheless instead of exploring what other career options could have been. Conversely, a surprisingly large number of of students who are not interested in engineering end up at IITs - again a consequence of equating career choice with academic achievement.
JOB Placement is the only reason and criteria for any educational institutions, if a student from any institutions after completing education got their dream job, then definitely for him/her that institute is the best education institute. JobOfficer is not only an IT company but also provide 100% practical exposure to computer science students, so that they can start a wonderful career in web design and development.
Our company providing more than 50 services to professional education colleges since 2005. We have done so many experiments in education system only came to conclusion max. college's management, directors are not ready to think beyond traditional education system. Means they want good teacher who have excellent teaching experience, they want good placement officer who have industry contacts, they want experienced directors who have good contacts in university and AICTE etc. so that they can help them, Good registrar who maintain their students records etc.
But for me all is good, but it should be in different way. For me good teacher is that person who also have some industry and technical knowledge also. Who can help their students not in learning ...but also introduce them to the latest technology and trends of industry. Assume there is a good programmer in any company, if the programmer change his/her job or project he/she wont face problem related with technology not more than few days. Good Programmer adjust automatically and enjoy new challenges,.
I knew many professor, lecturer, teaching faculty who teaches computers students but not even know how to design a simple html page or host a website. My Personal belief students can study and pass the exam by himself or herself, but can't learn how to learn.
In similar way a TPO (Training & Placement Officer) can help you in campus drive via using your contacts, but if the students of any college is performing extraordinary in industry, who can stop the placement of their students. Management should understand the fact, tomorrow another college will hire that TPO via offering more salary than what they will do?
They should focus on channel which can work without any force also. For that we should ready future students with updated knowledge. e.g. We have done an experiment in a college, which is offering MBA, Now, we ask them to also offer their students a diploma of PGPM along with degree. As the college is affiliated to IPU and they can't change in syllabus, but in PGPM they include industry course like advance Excel, Power point, SAS, SAP, Google Searching, Social Media Marketing, SMM, SEM, Analysis and so many subject with each semester, They have separate classes and attendance for it. To make it easy and interesting we make it objective test. We are getting very positive response from student and industry. As our students is directly deployed by them without training.
In a similar manner, We are having so many ideas which we implemented and getting very positive response, after that so many colleges follows them, but when we initially share the above idea with them they are not even ready to think.
If you really wants to think beyond IIT/ IIM just connect with us.
